Brief Description Flood Watch
Detailed Description * WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE. Portions of northwest Texas and the Panhandle of Texas, including the following counties, Briscoe, Childress, Cottle, Crosby, Dickens, Floyd, Garza, Hale, Hall, Kent, King, Lubbock, Lynn, Motley and Stonewall. * WHEN. From 6 PM this evening to 6 PM Friday evening. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Heavy rainfall from showers and thunderstorms that will move slowly from west to east across the watch area. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
