Lumber River Near Lumberton affecting Robeson County. * WHAT. Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Lumber River near Lumberton. * WHEN. Until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 18.0 feet, Flood waters deepen in the Pines and Coxs Pond areas as well as along River Road. Flood waters may affect Carthage Road. Several homes will become isolated or inundated between the Pepsi plant and the river. Chickenfoot Road, Hestertown Road and Noir Street will be closed. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 8:50 PM EDT Friday the stage was 18.3 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to fall to 13.8 feet Wednesday evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
