A developing low pressure system over Eastern Quebec will cause significant snowfall this evening. The snow will ease overnight before ending on Thursday. However, it will be accompanied by blowing snow. Rapidly accumulating snow will make travel difficult. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Blowing snow advisories are issued when winds are expected to create blowing snow giving poor visibility to 800 metres or less for at least 3 hours.
