| Detailed Description |
* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of Central Kansas, including the following counties, Chase, Marion and McPherson. * WHEN. Until 945 AM CDT. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 439 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Mcpherson, Lindsborg, Hillsboro, Marion, Cottonwood Falls, Galva, Canton, Strong City, Lincolnville, Ramona, Lehigh, Windom, Durham, Tampa, Lost Springs, Elmdale, Marion Lake, Pilsen, Roxbury and Hymer. |
