| Detailed Description | The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana. Ohio. Wabash River near Bluffton IN affecting Wells County. Wabash River near Linn Grove affecting Adams and Wells Counties. Saint Marys River near Decatur affecting Adams, Van Wert and Allen IN Counties. Tiffin River at Stryker affecting Williams, Fulton OH and Defiance Counties. . The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Ohio. Indiana. Saint Joseph River Ohio near Newville affecting Defiance, Allen IN and De Kalb Counties. North Branch Elkhart River at Cosperville affecting Noble County. For the Wabash River. including Linn Grove, Bluffton IN, Wabash, Logansport. Minor flooding is forecast. For the Saint Joseph River Ohio. including Montpelier, Newville, St. Joe River Ft. Wayne. Minor flooding is forecast. For the Saint Marys River. including Decatur, St. Mary's River near Fort Wayne. Minor flooding is forecast. For the Tiffin River. including Stryker. Minor flooding is forecast. For the Elkhart River. including Goshen, Cosperville. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Saint Joseph River Ohio near Newville. * WHEN. Until early tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS. At 12.0 feet, DeKalb County Road 42 about 3 miles northeast of Newville floods. Agricultural and low lands flood along the St. Joseph River to the Cedarville Reservoir. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 10:10 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 12.2 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:10 AM EDT Wednesday was 13.1 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to fall below flood stage this afternoon and continue falling to 9.4 feet Monday morning. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood |
