Detailed Description The National Weather Service in Tallahassee FL has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Florida. St. Marks River near Newport On Old Magnolia Rd affecting Wakulla and Leon Counties. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. St. Marks River near Newport On Old Magnolia Rd. * WHEN. From this morning to tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS. At 8.0 feet, Water begins to flood yards of some residences of homes near Old Magnolia Road in Wakulla County. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 7:00 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 8.0 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:00 AM EDT Wednesday was 8.0 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 8.1 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage this evening. - Flood stage is 8.0 feet. - Flood History. This crest compares to a previous crest of 8.1 feet on 06/07/2017. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
