| Detailed Description | 8:37 PM ADT Saturday 6 July 2024 Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect for: Annapolis County Conditions are favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms that may be capable of producing torrential rain. Thunderstorms are forecast late this evening and overnight tonight. Intense lightning is likely with any thunderstorm that develops. Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Be prepared for severe weather. Take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches. If you hear thunder, then lightning is close enough to be dangerous. Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when atmospheric conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms that could produce one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.
