| Detailed Description | The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Missouri. Grand River near Brunswick affecting Carroll and Chariton Counties. Grand River near Sumner affecting Livingston, Carroll, Linn and Chariton Counties. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Grand River near Brunswick. * WHEN. Until early Saturday afternoon. * IMPACTS. At 19.0 feet, Flooding of low-lying areas occurs along the west bank of the Grand River near the U.S. Highway 24 bridge about 1 mile west of Brunswick. At 22.0 feet, Low-lying areas along the east bank of the Grand River near the U.S. Highway 24 bridge begin to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 7:09 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 19.5 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.0 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 19.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood |
