| Detailed Description | 5:12 AM PDT Friday 19 July 2024 Special Weather Statement in effect for: Similkameen A hot airmass entrenched over the BC interior is generating temperatures well above seasonal values that has resulted in heat warnings being issued for many regions. The Similkameen region is seeing high daytime temperatures but cooling at night has been providing some limited relief. Conditions will be monitored closely for those regions and heat warnings may be issued tomorrow if warranted. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
