At 1056 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms produced heavy rain over the Halfway Hill Burn Scar. Between 0.5 and 0.9 inches of rain have fallen from earlier thunderstorms. Flash flooding is already occurring in Dry and Pine Creek, and is anticipated to begin in Chalk Creek. Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow moving through the Chalk Creek, Dry Creek, and Pine Creek. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials. HAZARD. Life threatening flash flooding.
