| Detailed Description | The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana. East Fork White River from Seymour to Shoals. .Major flooding continues on the East Fork White River. The crest on the East Fork was near Bedford late Wednesday morning and forecast to reach Shoals early Friday morning. Seymour should fall below flood stage on Saturday, while points downstream will stay above flood stage until the middle of next week. Rainfall is expected at times today through Thursday night, but total amounts of a quarter inch to half an inch are not expected to raise the crest but could lengthen the time in flood. * WHAT. Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE. East Fork White River at Williams. * WHEN. Until Thursday, April 17. * IMPACTS. At 20.0 feet, Flood levels approach a serious level. Evacuations are necessary for those on lowest knolls. Flood waters cover nearly the entire flood plain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 7:23 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 19.3 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:23 AM EDT Wednesday was 19.3 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.9 feet this evening.
