Detailed Description The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a Flood Advisory for the following rivers in Texas. Pease River near Vernon affecting Wilbarger County. * WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. Pease River near Vernon. * WHEN. From this morning to Friday morning. * IMPACTS. At 14.0 feet, Near bankfull conditions extend along the Pease River in northern Wilbarger County. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 8:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 8.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Forecast. The river will rise to 14.3 feet early Thursday afternoon. - Action stage is 13.0 feet. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
