| Detailed Description | Significant snowfall with spring storm likely. What: Total snowfall accumulations of 10 to 20 cm. Amounts in excess of 20 cm are possible over some areas. Reduced visibility in heavy snow. Risk of freezing rain and ice pellets for regions near the international border. Difficult travel conditions and possible road closures. When: Friday to early Saturday. Additional information: Significant snow with a low pressure system is expected to move across northwestern Ontario from west to east. Total snowfall accumulations could be reduced if ice pellets and freezing rain mix in.
