Brief Description Fire Weather Watch
Detailed Description BREEZY AND DRY OVER NORTH CENTRAL COLORADO FRIDAY. . WINDY CONDITIONS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY WILL CAUSE WIDESPREAD CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS SATURDAY ACROSS NORTHERN COLORADO. .Gusty west-southwest winds develop over the higher terrain Friday afternoon. The strongest winds will be found across Jackson County and far northwest Larimer County with gusts to 30 mph. In addition, relative humidities are expected to fall into the lower teens. On Saturday, gusty west to northwest winds spread across much of north central and northeast Colorado. Temperatures will be very warm (possibly record breaking), leading to relative humidities of 10 to 14 percent. * AFFECTED AREA. Fire Weather Zones 212, 213, 214, 215, 216, 238, 239, 240, 241, 242, 243, 244, 245, 246, 248, 249, 250 and 251. * TIMING. From Saturday morning through Saturday evening. * WINDS. Northwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY. As low as 9 percent. * IMPACTS. Conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread. Avoid outdoor burning and any activity that may produce a spark and start a wildfire.
