Brief Description Snowfall Warning
Detailed Description Heavy snow with total amounts of 10 to 20 cm is expected. Snow will spread southward along the foothills today, with the heaviest amounts expected for communities near Hinton-Grande Cache and east toward Edson. For areas further south including Nordegg and Kananaskis, the heaviest snow will occur tonight and into Monday. Snowfall totals are expected to be highly variable due to local terrain. The snow will come to an end by Monday morning. ### Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
