Brief Description Winter Storm Warning
Detailed Description Hazardous winter conditions are expected. When: Wednesday evening to early Friday morning. Where: Highway 3 - Paulson Summit to Kootenay Pass. Additional information: A low pressure system moving across the southeastern BC will bring significant snowfall to Kootenay Pass. A band of heavy snow will begin this evening and will continue through Thursday bringing total snowfall accumulation of 20 to 30 cm by Friday morning. ### Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.
