| Detailed Description | Above seasonal temperatures today are expected. Where: North Thompson When: Today. Remarks: A ridge of high pressure over the region continues to usher in unseasonably warm air from the south. The warm air will linger today, causing daytime high temperatures to rise into the low to mid 30s. Cooler air will arrive on Thursday resulting in temperatures lowering to near seasonal values. Monitor local public forecasts and weather alerts for updates. Access Environment and Climate Change Canada weather forecasts via the weathercan app or www.weather.gc.ca. Watch for the effects of Heat illness: Heavy sweating, rash, cramps, fainting. High body temperatures, and the worsening of some health conditions. Never leave people or pets inside a parked vehicle.
