| Detailed Description | 9:57 PM ADT Monday 26 August 2024 Heat Warning in effect for: Eagle River A period of very warm weather continues. Time span: continuing until Tuesday evening. Maximum daytime temperatures: near 30 degrees Celsius. Minimum nighttime temperatures: near 18 degrees Celsius. Locations: Upper Lake Melville and Eagle River. Remarks: Conditions are expected to turn cooler on Tuesday evening with the passage of a cold front. Extreme heat can affect everyone?s health. Never leave people, particularly children, or pets inside a parked vehicle. Heat warnings are issued when very high temperature or humidity conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
