| Detailed Description | 9:06 AM EDT Tuesday 18 June 2024 Rainfall Warning in effect for: Armstrong - Auden - Wabakimi Park Rain, at times heavy, continues. Hazards: Total rainfall amounts of 50 to 100 mm with locally higher amounts possible. Timing: Two rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected with the first occurring this morning and the second occurring this afternoon through this evening. Discussion: A warm and moist airmass will bring significant rainfall today. Areas that receive multiple thunderstorms or prolonged rainfall from thunderstorms may have the potential to exceed 100 mm. For information concerning flooding, please consult your local Conservation Authority or Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry office. Visit Ontario.ca/floods for the latest details. Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Watch for possible washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts.
