| Detailed Description | 4:01 PM PDT Sunday 2 June 2024 Rainfall Warning in effect for: Fraser Valley - central including Chilliwack Fraser Valley - east including Hope Rain, at times heavy, continues. Where: Fraser Valley - central and east including Chilliwack and Hope. When: Tonight and Monday morning. Rainfall amounts: Up to 60 mm. Remarks: A moisture laden Pacific frontal system has reached the South Coast bringing heavy rain to the aforementioned regions. Rain at times heavy will continue tonight then ease to light rain or showers by Monday afternoon. Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
