Brief Description	Snow Squall Warning
Detailed Description	Lake effect snow squalls are expected to develop this afternoon. Hazards: Locally heavy snowfall with total accumulations of 30 to 40 cm. Peak snowfall rates of 3 to 5 cm per hour. Reduced visibility at times in heavy snow and local blowing snow. Timing: This afternoon into Tuesday afternoon. Discussion: Snow squalls are expected to develop off Lake Huron and Georgian Bay beginning this afternoon. Snow squall activity will shift south of the region Tuesday afternoon. ### Snow squalls cause weather conditions to vary considerably; changes from clear skies to heavy snow within just a few kilometres are common. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
