Brief Description Flood Advisory
Detailed Description The Flood Advisory is extended for the following rivers in Nevada. Humboldt River At Battle Mountain affecting Lander County. For the Lower Humboldt. including Palisade, Battle Mountain, Comus. elevated river levels are forecast. * WHAT. Flooding caused by snowmelt continues is possible. * WHERE. Humboldt River at Battle Mountain. * WHEN. Until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 9.5 feet, Minor Flood Stage. Minor lowland flooding throughout the reach. A few rural roads begin to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 2:15 AM PDT Friday the stage was 9.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 8.5 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 9.4 feet early this morning. - Action stage is 8.5 feet. - Flood stage is 9.5 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
