Ohio River at Mount Vernon affecting Union, Vanderburgh, Posey and Henderson Counties. Ohio River at Smithland Dam affecting Livingston and Pope Counties. Ohio River at Paducah affecting McCracken, Livingston, Pope and Massac Counties. Ohio River at Cairo affecting Ballard, Carlisle, Fulton, Mississippi, Hickman, Pulaski and Alexander Counties. Ohio River at Olmsted Lock and Dam affecting Pulaski and Ballard Counties. Ohio River at Golconda affecting Livingston, Crittenden, Pope and Hardin Counties. Ohio River at Evansville affecting Vanderburgh, Daviess, Warrick, Henderson and Posey Counties. Ohio River near Henderson affecting Vanderburgh, Posey and Henderson Counties. Ohio River at Owensboro affecting Spencer and Daviess Counties. Ohio River at J.T. Myers Dam affecting Union and Posey Counties. Ohio River at Shawneetown affecting Gallatin, Crittenden, Hardin and Union Counties. Ohio River at Newburgh Dam affecting Vanderburgh, Daviess, Warrick, Henderson and Spencer Counties. For the Ohio River. including Owensboro, Newburgh Dam, Evansville, Henderson, Mount Vernon, J.T. Myers Dam, Shawneetown, Golconda, Smithland Dam, Paducah, Olmsted Lock and Dam, Cairo. Major flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Ohio River at Smithland Dam. * WHEN. Until further notice. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 8:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 45.9 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:00 PM CDT Thursday was 45.9 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 47.5 feet Thursday, April 17. - Flood stage is 40.0 feet. |
