| Detailed Description |
* WHAT. Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of north central Texas, including the following counties, Cooke and Montague. * WHEN. Until 1130 AM CDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will likely cause urban and small stream flooding. Low lying and/or poor drainage areas will experience minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are forecast. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Gainesville, Bowie, Nocona, Muenster, St. Jo, Lindsay, Callisburg, Lake Muenster, Hubert H Moss Lake, Lake Nocona, Sunset, Lake Amon G Carter, Lake Kiowa, Ray Roberts Park Johnson Branch, Lake Texoma, Road Runner, Valley View, Nocona Hills, Montague and Oak Ridge. |
