| Detailed Description | 8:25 PM EDT Thursday 4 July 2024 Rainfall Warning in effect for: Sanirajak Heavy rainfall of 25 mm or more in 24 hours expected. Rain begun in Kinngait last night and they have so far received 31 mm. Rain will continue tonight with another 10 to 15 mm expected by morning, totalling 40 to 45 mm. Sanirajak begin raining this afternoon. Igloolik is expected to begin raining early this evening. They are expected to continue raining into Friday night and will receive slightly less rainfall accumulation than Kinngait, with 24 hours totals of 25 to 30 mm by late Friday. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Watch for possible washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts. Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.
