At 25.5 feet, State Route P east of Elsberry begins flooding just east of the levee. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 8:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 24.3 feet. - Forecast. The river will rise above flood stage early tomorrow afternoon to 26.0 feet Tuesday evening. It will then fall early Thursday morning. It will rise to 26.1 feet Friday morning. It will then fall again but remain above flood stage. - Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
