Detailed Description 12:40 AM PDT Monday 26 August 2024 Special Weather Statement in effect for: North Coast - coastal sections Heavy rainfall is expected. Where: North Coast - coastal sections. When: Now until this morning. Rainfall amounts: 60 to 80mm, nearing 100mm locally. Winds: South/Southeasterly up to 80 km/h. Remarks: A potent and moist frontal system from the Pacific is bringing prolonged rainfall to the North Coast. The heaviest rainfall will continue until early this morning.
