The next statement will be issued Saturday evening at 800 PM CDT. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Calcasieu River near Salt Water Barrier. * WHEN. From late Saturday night to Wednesday evening. * IMPACTS. At 4.0 feet, Minor marshland flooding occurs. Flooding also begins on River Road in north Lake Charles. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - There is no current observed data. - Forecast. The river will oscillate around flood stage with a maximum value of 4.0 feet just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 4.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood |
