| Detailed Description | Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain. An area of thunderstorms continues in northern Manitoba, some of which may become severe. These thunderstorms will move eastward across Manitoba through the evening hours, before moving into northwestern Ontario. The main hazard with these storms will be strong winds, with up to 100 km/h wind gusts possible. ### Damage to roofs, fences, branches or soft shelters is possible. Strong wind gusts can damage trees, buildings and overturn vehicles. Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging hail, wind or rain.
