| Detailed Description | The National Weather Service in Quad Cities IA IL has issued a Flood Watch for the following rivers in Iowa. Iowa River at Wapello affecting Louisa County. Iowa River at Oakville affecting Louisa County. .Heavy rain on the Cedar River will make its way downstream to the lower Iowan and potentially cause flooding at the following sites. * WHAT. Minor Flooding is possible. * WHERE. Iowa River at Oakville. * WHEN. From late Sunday night until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 11.5 feet, River Road is under water and the water is a few feet up onto the levee. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 8:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 7.3 feet. - Forecast. Flood stage may be reached early Monday morning. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. |
