Brief Description SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT
Detailed Description 5:13 PM ADT Friday 5 July 2024 Special Weather Statement in effect for: Annapolis County Rain, at times heavy, is expected. Total rainfall: 30 to 50 mm. Locally higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. Locations: Digby, Annapolis, Kings and Hants Counties. Time span: Early Saturday morning until Saturday afternoon, then another period of rain Saturday night. Remarks: Rainfall rates could exceed 20 mm per hour at times. Be sure storm drains and gutters are cleared of debris. Heavy downpours can cause flash flooding and pooling of water. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
