Where: Nicola, Coquihalla Highway - Merritt to Kamloops, Okanagan Connector - Merritt to Kelowna. When: This afternoon What: Southwest 70 km/h with gusts up to 90 km/h Remark: A Pacific frontal system is moving through Southern BC today. Strong southwest to west wind is expected across many of the southern BC interior communities. The strong winds will subside this evening. High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break. Utility outages may occur. Motorists, especially in high profile vehicles, may expect hazardous driving conditions on highways subject to strong cross winds.
