High temperatures have accelerated the mountain snowmelt in the Snowy Range in Albany and Carbon Counties. Expect high water along the Little Laramie River to persist through the weekend. High temperatures are expected to persist for several more days. Abundant snowpack in the higher elevations should provide ample water to sustain the high flows. * WHAT. Flooding caused by snowmelt is occurring. * WHERE. Along the Little Laramie near the Vee-Bar Ranch and upstream and downstream of highway 130 in Albany County. * WHEN. Until 300 PM MDT Sunday. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 253 PM MDT, Emergency management reported flooding in the warned area.
