| Detailed Description | Minimum relative humidity values will drop to 28 to 40 percent this afternoon combined and south to southwesterly winds will become gusty at 20 to 30 mph across portions of the Adirondacks, upper Hudson Valley, Capital District, Catskills, Taconics, and Mid Hudson Valley. Fine fuels are dry according to the New York Department of Environmental Conservation, which in combination with the low relative humidity and breezy conditions will contribute to an elevated risk of fire spread during the afternoon. |
