| Detailed Description | Heavy snowfall, with total amounts of 10 to 15 cm, is expected tonight and Saturday. Snowfall will begin tonight west of Great Slave Lake and spread eastward by morning. There is also a risk of blowing snow and freezing rain, particularly in regions south of Great Slave Lake. Snowfall will continue through the day on Saturday, ending gradually in the evening. ### Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
