Detailed Description |
* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE. Portions of central, south central, and southwest Missouri, including the following counties, in central Missouri, Benton and Hickory. In south central Missouri, Howell and Oregon. In southwest Missouri, Dallas, Douglas, Webster and Wright. * WHEN. Through this afternoon. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - A narrow band of thunderstorms will continue to develop early this morning and will be capable of heavy rainfall rates. Heavy rainfall of 2 to 4 inches with localized amounts up to 6 inches will be possible within this band. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood |
