| Detailed Description | * WHAT. Dangerously hot conditions with temperatures up to 95 to 105 possible, and upwards of 105 to 110 possible over valleys well away from the coast. * WHERE. Portions of the coastal ranges, foothills, and valleys of Southern California. * WHEN. From Wednesday morning through early Monday morning, July 08. * IMPACTS. Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. Very warm to hot conditions will have the potential to bring significant heat impacts to the coast. Heat headlines may need to be expanded to include a larger portion of Southern California in later forecasts. |
