At 14.5 feet, In Port Byron, water affects commercial buildings facing the river. In Le Claire, water affects the lowest section of Canal Shore Drive south of town. Most of First Street is under water in Rapids City. Water affects the lowest portions of 1st Avenue in Hampton. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 10:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 12.9 feet and rising. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.3 feet Sunday morning. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
