Areas of specific concern are near Lee Sink affecting SE Magnolia Drive as well as other flooded areas southward toward Interstate 10 and east of State Road 53. Flood waters are gradually shifting eastward toward the Suwannee River. Note that flood waters are not impacting access to or travel on Interstate 10 or US Highway 90. * WHERE. A portion of Big Bend Florida in Southeast Madison County. * WHEN. Until 215 PM EDT Friday. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 215 PM EDT, Madison County Emergency Management reports continued flooding in the warned area. - Flooding will likely persist into at least early next week as water runoff from Hurricane Debby continues. With high groundwater levels, locations near small creeks, springs, or sinks in Southeast Madison County could be prone to flooding on relatively short notice.
