Brief Description Flood Warning
Detailed Description The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Louisiana. Texas. Calcasieu River Near Glenmora Neches River Near Town Bluff Neches River Near Evadale Sabine River Near Deweyville Neches River at Neches River Saltwater Barrier . The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Texas. Pine Island Bayou Near Sour Lake For the Calcasieu River. including Glenmora, Oakdale, Oberlin, Kinder, Sam Houston Jones State Park, White Oak Park, Old Town Bay, Salt Water Barrier, Port Of LCH. Minor flooding is forecast. For the Sabine River. including Burkeville, Bon Wier, Deweyville, Orange. Minor flooding is forecast. For the Neches River. including Town Bluff, Evadale, Neches River Saltwater Barrier, Beaumont. Moderate flooding is forecast. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov. The next statement will be issued by Thursday afternoon at 500 PM CDTthis evening at 1015 PM CDT. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Sabine River near Deweyville. * WHEN. Until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 25.0 feet, Lowest roads beside the river flood around Deweyville and subject to being closed. In addition, low-lying roads in Southwest Beauregard Parish are flooded including Robert Clark Road. Flooding occurs on the south side of Niblett Bluff Park with access roads to camp houses cut off around the park. Access roads to the river in Northeastern Orange County become flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 7:45 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 24.8 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:45 AM CDT Wednesday was 24.9 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.9 feet this afternoon. - Flood stage is 24.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
