| Detailed Description | The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Nebraska. Missouri. Iowa. Missouri River At Rulo affecting Holt and Richardson Counties. Missouri River At Nebraska City affecting Otoe and Fremont Counties. Missouri River At Brownville affecting Atchison and Nemaha Counties. Missouri River at Plattsmouth affecting Cass and Mills Counties. Missouri River At Omaha affecting Pottawattamie, Sarpy and Douglas Counties. * WHAT. Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Missouri River at Nebraska City. * WHEN. Until Saturday evening. * IMPACTS. At 23.0 feet, Areas and infrastructure along, and including, North First Street flood in Nebraska City. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 8:15 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 23.4 feet. or 5.4 feet above flood stage. - Bankfull stage is 18.0 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the last 24 hours was 23.4 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.4 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early Saturday afternoon. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet. |
