Brief Description Hazardous Seas Warning
Detailed Description * WHAT. For the Small Craft Advisory, north winds 25 to 35 kt with gusts up to 40 kt and seas 7 to 10 ft at 11 seconds. For the first Hazardous Seas Warning, very steep and hazardous seas 9 to 12 ft at 10 seconds. For the Gale Warning, north winds 30 to 40 kt with gusts up to 45 kt and seas 9 to 12 ft at 10 seconds expected. For the second Hazardous Seas Warning, very steep and hazardous seas 7 to 12 ft at 11 seconds expected. * WHERE. The First Hazardous seas warning will affect areas south of Port Orford and out to 60 nm from shore. The Gale Warning will affect areas near and south of Gold Beach. The second Hazardous Seas Warning will affect areas south of Port Orford. The rest of the area will be affected by Small Craft conditions. * WHEN. For the Small Craft Advisory, until 11 PM PDT Sunday. For the Hazardous Seas Warning, until 2 PM PDT Saturday. For the Gale Warning, from 2 PM Saturday to 2 AM PDT Sunday. For the Hazardous Seas Warning, from 2 AM to 11 PM PDT Sunday. * IMPACTS. Strong winds and very steep seas could capsize or damage vessels.
