Detailed Description * WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE. Portions of central, south central, and west central Virginia, including the following areas, in central Virginia, Amherst, Appomattox, Buckingham and Campbell. In south central Virginia, Bedford, Charlotte, Halifax and Pittsylvania. In west central Virginia, Alleghany VA, Bath, Botetourt and Rockbridge. * WHEN. Through late tonight. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Thunderstorms with heavy rain may lead to flash flooding through late tonight. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
