Brief Description Flash Flood Warning
Detailed Description FFWCHS The National Weather Service in Charleston has extended the * Flash Flood Warning for. A Dam Failure below The Cypress Lake Dam in. Bulloch County in southeastern Georgia. * Until 315 PM EDT Friday. * At 251 PM EDT, local law enforcement continues to report that the Cypress Lake Dam could fail at any time. HAZARD. Life threatening flash flooding from the imminent failure of The Cypress Lake Dam. SOURCE. Law enforcement reported. IMPACT. Life threatening flash flooding of areas downstream from the Cypress Lake Dam. * If the dam breaks, flash flooding will occur immediately downstream of the dam, including Cypress Lake Mobile Home Park, Dry Ranch Village and portions of Cypress Lake Road, Cypress Lake Drive and Cypress Lake Court. Flood waters would then travel south to Highway 301. If asked to evacuate from local officials, do so.
