Brief Description Flood Advisory
Detailed Description The Flood Advisory continues for the following rivers in Nevada. Humboldt River At Comus affecting Humboldt County. .The Humboldt River at Comus is expected to continue to slowly rise, possibly reaching minor flood stage Monday night or Tuesday. For the Lower Humboldt. including Palisade, Battle Mountain, Comus. elevated river levels are forecast. * WHAT. Flooding caused by snowmelt is possible. * WHERE. Humboldt River at Comus. * WHEN. Until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 9.5 feet, Minor Flood Stage. Minor lowland flooding throughout the reach. No flooding in Winnemucca. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 2:15 PM PDT Sunday the stage was 8.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 8.5 feet. - Forecast. The river will rise to 9.3 feet early Tuesday afternoon. It will then fall to 9.2 feet Tuesday afternoon. It will rise to 9.3 feet Tuesday evening. It will then fall again and remain below flood stage. - Action stage is 8.5 feet. - Flood stage is 9.5 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
