Brief Description Flood Warning
Detailed Description The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa. Cedar River at Cedar Falls affecting Black Hawk County. Des Moines River at Fort Dodge affecting Webster County. Shell Rock River at Shell Rock affecting Bremer, Black Hawk and Butler Counties. West Fork Des Moines River at Humboldt affecting Humboldt County. West Fork Des Moines River at Emmetsburg affecting Pocahontas and Palo Alto Counties. West Fork Des Moines River at Estherville affecting Emmet County. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. The Cedar River at Cedar Falls, or from the West Fork Cedar River to the Cedar Falls-Waterloo city limits. * WHEN. Until Monday afternoon. * IMPACTS. At 89.7 feet, Water affects the road at 1712 and 1118 Cottage Row Rd. At 90.3 feet, Water affects Riverside Dr south of Beech St. At 91.2 feet, Water affects portions of Lake St. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 9:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 89.5 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 91.3 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Monday morning. - Flood stage is 89.0 feet.
