A portion of central Virginia, including the following counties and independent city, Appomattox, Campbell and City of Lynchburg. * WHEN. Until 600 AM EDT. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 1210 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that rainfall has exited the area for the night. However, between 2 and locally 3.5 inches of rain fell from thunderstorms earlier this evening. Flooding will continue in spots through the night as runoff continues to collect in area creeks and streams. - This includes the following streams and drainages. Beaverpond Branch, Carters Creek, Buffalo Creek, Bear Creek, Entry Creek, Buttom Creek, Blackwater Creek, Falling River, Burton Creek and Dreaming Creek. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Lynchburg, Brookneal, Rustburg, Concord, Forest, Gladys and Spring Mills. - This includes the following locations.
