| Detailed Description | 11:09 AM MDT Thursday 25 July 2024 Rainfall Warning in effect for: Yellowhead Co. near Edson and Sundance Prov. Park Heavy rain will continue today with total rainfall amounts of 70 to 90 mm expected by Saturday. Greater rainfall amounts will be in areas where embedded thunderstorms occur. Heavy rain will taper off by Saturday morning. Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Watch for possible washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts. Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.
