Minimum overnight temperatures tonight: near 19 degrees Celsius. Maximum daytime temperatures Monday: 28 to 32 degrees Celsius (Humidex 33 to 37). Locations: Upper Lake Melville and the Labrador coast from Postville to Lodge Bay. Remarks: Cooler conditions can be expected where winds blow onshore and along the immediate coastline. Extreme heat can affect everyone?s health. Drink plenty of water regularly, even before you feel thirsty to decrease your risk of dehydration. Thirst is not a good indicator of dehydration. Reduce your heat risk. Schedule outdoor activities during the coolest parts of the day. Heat warnings are issued when very high temperature or humidity conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
