St Johns River Near Astor affecting Volusia and Lake Counties. .The Saint Johns River will remain nearly steady or slowly fall through the week, prolonging flood impacts. At Astor, the river level will remain above the major flood stage of 4.0 feet. At Deland, the river is forecast to remain nearly steady, staying in major flood with a stage forecast near 5.4 ft. The river at Sanford is forecast to drop only slightly this week and remain in moderate flood. The river level at Geneva is forecast to stay in moderate flood and drop only gradually to 9.3 ft by Sunday. For the Saint Johns River at Astor and DeLand, major flooding is forecast.
